This is one of City Cycling Guide’s favorite routes. Beginning in Bown Crossing, this route meanders along the southeastern portions of the Boise River Greenbelt where nature, parks and wildlife are abundant. You’ll have the opportunity to park your bike and enjoy pedestrian-only nature areas, such as the MK Nature Center, the Bethine Church River Trail, and the Golda Harris Nature Preserve. The views of the foothills along this route are stunning, especially as you traverse the Warm Springs Golf Course. The route is best experience by taking your time – stop and read the signs to learn about the unique history of the area and the legacies of the remarkable women for whom the parks are named.
